Lemon Security Privacy Policy

Website | Lemon Security | Last updated: 9 Sep 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lemon Security may collect, store, and process, how that information is used, and the measures taken to protect it while providing security and moderation services. By using Lemon Security, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

| Information we collect.

Lemon Security may store information required for the bot to provide its security, moderation, verification, and server management features. This may include Server IDs, User IDs, Channel IDs, Role IDs, Message IDs, moderation records, verification data, security configurations, blacklist entries, logging configurations, and other technical information required for its functionality. The specific information stored may vary depending on which Lemon Security features are enabled or used within a server. Lemon Security is designed to collect information relevant to the operation and configuration of its security systems.

| How your data is used.

Information collected by Lemon Security is used to provide, maintain, and improve the bot's security and moderation features. This may include operating verification systems, AutoMod, AntiRaid, AntiNuke, LemonPot, logging systems, blacklist systems, automated moderation, and other security-related features. Information may also be used to maintain server configurations, investigate technical issues, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability and effectiveness of Lemon Security. Data is not intentionally used for purposes unrelated to the operation, security, or improvement of Lemon Security.

| No unnecessary data collection.

Lemon Security is designed to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for its features and services. Lemon Security does not intentionally collect Discord passwords, payment information, government-issued personal documents, authentication credentials, or other highly sensitive personal information. Users should never provide passwords, Discord tokens, payment details, or other confidential information through Lemon Security's commands, verification systems, or support channels. If sensitive information is voluntarily submitted, Lemon Company may take reasonable steps to remove or restrict access to it where technically possible.

| Data sharing.

Lemon Company does not sell Lemon Security data or user information to third parties. Information may be accessed by authorized Lemon Company staff when reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide support, investigate security issues, or maintain the bot's infrastructure. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, integrity, or functionality of Lemon Security. Lemon Company does not intentionally share stored information for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

| Data retention.

Lemon Security may retain stored information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide its security and moderation features. Security configurations, verification data, moderation records, blacklist entries, logs, and other technical information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose. Certain information may need to remain stored while a server continues to use the relevant Lemon Security feature. Information may be manually removed, reset, replaced, or deleted when it is no longer required or when technically possible.

| Data removal requests.

Server owners may request the removal of stored server configuration data by contacting the Lemon Company Team. Lemon Company will review eligible requests and process them where removal is technically possible and does not interfere with legitimate security, moderation, operational, or legal requirements. Removing certain information may affect the functionality of Lemon Security or reset configurations associated with the relevant server. Some information may be retained when it is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.

| Security.

Lemon Company takes reasonable measures to protect information stored by Lemon Security against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss. Access to stored information may be limited to authorized individuals who require it for legitimate operational, support, moderation, or security purposes. Lemon Company may implement technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information processed through Lemon Security. However, no online service, database, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

| Third-party services.

Lemon Security operates through Discord and may rely on third-party services, infrastructure, APIs, hosting providers, databases, or other technologies necessary to provide its functionality. These services may process certain information as required to operate their respective systems. Third-party services are independently operated and may have their own terms and privacy policies that apply to information processed directly by them. Lemon Company is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services.

| Security systems and moderation data.

Lemon Security may process information related to security events, moderation actions, verification attempts, blacklist entries, automated actions, and other activity relevant to protecting a server. This information may be used to operate AntiRaid, AntiNuke, LemonPot, AutoMod, verification, blacklist, logging, and other security systems. Security-related information may be necessary to detect threats, prevent abuse, enforce server configurations, and maintain the intended operation of Lemon Security. The information processed may depend on the security features enabled by the server administrator.

| Server configurations.

Lemon Security may store configuration information required to remember how security features have been set up within a server. This may include configured channels, roles, permissions, verification settings, moderation settings, logging configurations, security thresholds, blacklist settings, and other bot configurations. Configuration data allows Lemon Security to maintain the selected settings between commands, sessions, and other interactions. Server administrators may modify or reset available configurations through the bot's supported features.

| Verification information.

Lemon Security may process information related to verification attempts in order to provide and maintain its verification systems. This may include information necessary to determine whether a user has completed a configured verification process or whether an account meets the server's configured requirements. Verification information may be used to prevent unauthorized access, reduce malicious activity, and protect participating servers. The information processed may vary depending on the verification method and configuration selected by the server administrator.

| Server administrator responsibility.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for how Lemon Security is configured and used within their servers. Administrators should avoid requesting or storing unnecessary personal or sensitive information through systems configured using Lemon Security. Server administrators are responsible for ensuring that their configurations comply with applicable laws, Discord's policies, and their own server rules. Lemon Company does not control what information server administrators may choose to request from users through independently configured server systems.

| Privacy Policy updates.

Lemon Company may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to Lemon Security, its features, data practices, security measures, or applicable requirements. When significant changes are made, Lemon Company may provide notice through its official channels where appropriate. The latest published version of this Privacy Policy will take precedence over previous versions. Continued use of Lemon Security after changes to this Privacy Policy have been published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
